FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES
Free golf practice worksheets
Take a blank sheet to practice, then keep your observations in the matching tool. Use the Skins exercise to agree how your group will score before a round.
These sheets record observations and illustrate a calculation. They do not prescribe a swing, replace a fitting or certify an official handicap.
Choose A4 or US Letter. Your browser may also offer Save as PDF. The printable pack contains the three sheets below; it does not contain your saved calculator inputs.
1. My club distances
Record carry to first landing separately from total distance to the final resting place. Leave unknown distances blank. Compare shots taken in similar conditions.
| Club | Carry | Total | Notes / spread of shots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Driver | ________ | ________ | ________________ |
| Fairway / hybrid | ________ | ________ | ________________ |
| 7-iron | ________ | ________ | ________________ |

2. My wedge distance matrix
Use swing descriptions you can repeat. “Half” and “three-quarter” describe your feel; they do not mean half or three-quarters of your full-swing distance. Measure each entry separately.
| Club / loft | Half swing | Three-quarter | Full swing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wedge 1: ______ | ________ | ________ | ________ |
| Wedge 2: ______ | ________ | ________ | ________ |
| Wedge 3: ______ | ________ | ________ | ________ |
| Wedge 4: ______ | ________ | ________ | ________ |

3. A three-hole Skins exercise
Three players; gross scores; carryovers on; next-hole validation off; one unit per opponent per skin. This example uses per-opponent settlement, not a shared prize pot.
| Hole | A | B | C | Who wins / skins? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | 4 | 5 | ____________ |
| 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 | ____________ |
| 3 | 4 | 3 | 5 | ____________ |
Final balances: A ______ B ______ C ______ Do they total zero? ______
Check the worked answer
Hole 1 ties, so one skin carries. A wins two skins on hole 2: A +4, B −2, C −2 units. B wins one skin on hole 3: A −1, B +2, C −1. Final balances are A +3, B 0, C −3 units.
