PLAYER FEEDBACK

Can you find your answer easily?

We are looking for 5–8 English-speaking golfers to try the tasks below. Use the phone or computer you would normally use. You do not need to be an expert or know your swing speed.

Allow about 10–15 minutes. These are optional tasks with example numbers, not a test of your golf knowledge. There is no payment or prize for participating.

Before you start

No account, screen recording or real score history is required. Use the example names and numbers below. If you already have saved data, leave it in place and skip any task that would replace it.

Try without reading the worked answer first. If you get stuck, tell us where and move on; that feedback is useful too. You can skip a task or stop at any time.

1. Make a personal distance card

Record 7-iron carry of 150 yards and total of 158 yards. Add 8-iron carry of 140 yards. Leave the 9-iron blank. Find a way to keep the card for a future round.

Tell us: Could you enter these without knowing swing speed? What is the difference between carry and total? Was it clear how to keep your card?

2. Record three wedge distances

Use an example wedge and record 60 yards for a half swing, 80 for a three-quarter swing and 100 for a full swing. Leave at least one other entry blank. These numbers are only task examples, not recommended distances or averages.

Tell us: Could you identify the wedge and enter the three distances? Was it clear that the tool records measurements rather than calculating half-swing distance from a full swing?

3. Settle a three-hole Skins example

Use players A, B and C, gross scores, carryovers on, next-hole validation off, and one unit per opponent per skin. Enter A/B/C scores of 4/4/5 on hole 1, 4/5/6 on hole 2, and 4/3/5 on hole 3. End the example after those three holes and inspect the balances.

Tell us: Who owes whom, and how much? Did “one unit per opponent” make sense? Which setting or explanation was hardest to find?
